School spirit wear & spirit stores

From field-day shirts to a full spirit store, we outfit students, staff, and families on a calendar that respects the school year.

We make custom school spirit wear and run online spirit stores for schools and PTOs: tees, hoodies, and staff apparel families can order their own sizes on demand. Open a spirit store and it raises a little money with zero inventory risk — you collect orders first, we print what sold.

What schools order through the year

School apparel runs on a calendar, and it's a calendar that doesn't move. Spirit wear before the season starts. Class and grade shirts in the first weeks. Field day and event tees in spring. Graduation and senior gear at the end. And staff shirts somewhere in between, usually forgotten until the week before.

We've printed enough of it to plan around those dates rather than react to them. If you tell us the in-hand date, we'll work backwards from it and tell you honestly whether it's realistic.

  • Spirit wear — tees, hoodies, and crewnecks in school colors
  • Class year and graduation shirts
  • Field day and event tees — bright, cheap, one color
  • Club, band, and team apparel
  • Staff and volunteer shirts so adults are identifiable
  • PTO and booster fundraiser runs

Design that survives a school year

The shirts that get worn past the event are the ones that look like something a student would buy. That usually means fewer colors, bigger type, and the mascot doing the work rather than a crowded design with a date and a sponsor list on the front.

Sponsors belong on the back, small. Dates belong on the back too, unless the shirt is specifically a keepsake. We went through the full design side in school spirit wear ideas.

On color: printing a light design onto a dark shirt needs a white underbase, which counts as an extra color. It's a real production step, not an upcharge — but it's worth knowing when you're pricing a two-color design on navy.

Fundraisers that actually clear money

A lot of school apparel doesn't need to come out of a budget at all. A shirt that costs around $10 to produce and sells for $22 nets roughly $12 each — 100 of those raises $1,200 and puts a hundred people in school colors.

The two rules that protect that margin: get the quote before you set the price, and set a real deadline. Most orders arrive in the final 48 hours no matter how long the window is, so a two-week campaign with a hard cutoff beats an open-ended one every time. Full breakdown in t-shirt fundraiser ideas.

Collecting sizes without losing a month

This is the part that sinks school orders — not the design, the logistics. Chasing sizes and payment from sixty families takes three weeks and somebody's patience.

An online store collects both for you. Parents order and pay individually with no minimum, nothing is printed that isn't paid for, and there are no leftover boxes in a closet. For a booster club or PTO running the same design every year, it also means you set it up once.

For one-time bulk runs, screen printing starts at 48, embroidery at 24, and DTF at 12 — so even a single class or club is easy to outfit.

Arizona schools, made in Mesa

We work with schools, PTOs, and booster clubs across the Valley and down to Tucson. Everything is printed in house, so a rush before a game or a graduation is a conversation with the people actually running the press.

Schools & Education FAQs

Where can I get custom school spirit wear?
We make custom school spirit wear in house — tees, hoodies, and staff apparel — and can run an online spirit store so families order their own sizes on demand. It's a no-inventory way for a PTO to raise a little money on every order.
How does a school spirit store work?
We build a store with your approved designs; families order and pay online during an order window; then we print exactly what sold and deliver it sorted. No upfront inventory, no leftover sizes, and an easy fundraiser if you add a small markup.
Can you print field day and class shirts by grade?
Yes — separating grades or classes by shirt color is one of our most common school jobs. Same design, different colors, sorted and labeled by teacher or grade.
Is there a minimum for school apparel?
Screen printing has a 48-piece minimum and gives the best price on big spirit runs; DTF has a low 12-piece minimum for smaller class or club orders. We'll steer you to whichever is cheaper.
